Needles: 5mm (US: H) crochet hook, darning needle

Rnd 1: ch14 and join [14 chs]
Rnd 2: tch1, dc14 [14 dc]
Rnd 3: tch1, *2htr, htr* 7 times [21 htr]
Rnd 4: tch3 (counts as tr), 2htr, skip 2, *3htr, skip 2* 6 times [21 htr]
Rnd 5: tch1, htr21 BLO [21 htr]
Rnds 6-9: repeat rounds 4-5
Rnd 10: tch1, dc21 [21 dc]
Rnd 11: tch1, *dc, ch2* 21 times [21 dc, 21 ch-sp]
Rnd 12: tch1, *(dc, htr), (tr, htr), (dc, slst)* 7 times into ch-sp
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Mini Petal Drawstring
Rnd 1: ch42 and thread through bag eyeholes (chain spaces) before joining [42 ch]
Rnd 2: no tch, dc3, slst and turn
Rnd 3: skip 1, (dc, htr), (tr, htr), (dc, slst)
Fasten off and hide ends with darning needle.
If you'd like to make the plastic bag saver taller, simply add extra repetitions of bag rounds 4-5, after round 9.
An alternative to bag rounds 1-2 would be a single round of foundation dc. (Use the yarn tail to close the join gap, at base.)
